A Good Neighbor, Wherever We Operate
From Houston’s East End to Tampa Bay’s Port Redwing, community is at the center of everything we do.
At SESCO Cement, we believe that being a strong company means being a strong community. We don’t just operate in Houston and Tampa Bay — we live here. Our team members show up to backpack drives, sponsor local tournaments, support maritime scholarships, plant trees, and celebrate the neighborhoods that surround our terminals. We invest in the communities around us because those communities are part of who we are.

Community Spotlights
Our community work spans youth sports, education, environmental stewardship, maritime support, and more. Here is a look at some of the organizations and initiatives we are proud to be part of.
Soccer Centro Little Feet Youth Program
We’re proud supporters of Soccer Centro’s Little Feet program in Houston, which introduces the sport to young children across the city.
Teacher Appreciation Days
Our Houston team takes time each year to recognize the educators shaping the next generation. We’ve participated in Teacher Appreciation Days at DeZavala Elementary School and Edison Middle School, showing our gratitude for the teachers who serve the families in our community.
Día de los Muertos at Magnolia Park
Each year, SESCO participates in the annual Día de los Muertos festival, connecting with community members, celebrating local culture, and showing up as a visible and engaged neighbor in the East End.
Port of Tampa Bay Annual Charity Golf TournamenT
SESCO is honored to serve as a key sponsor of the Port of Tampa Bay’s annual charity golf tournament. As we establish our presence at Port Redwing, this partnership reflects our commitment to the Tampa Bay maritime community and our belief that investing in the region goes well beyond the terminal gates.
