Job Description:

Sesco Cement Corporation seeks Computer and Information Systems Manager to work closely with the rest of our team to ensure that our company is using the most up-to-date technology to run our business, will be responsible for ensuring that the hardware and software used by our company is compatible, secure, and scalable, will also be responsible for managing our internal network and providing support for our staff.

Technical Responsibilities:
Will implement, manage, and ensure the best performance is applied with following Solutions
Cyber Security:

  • Cloudflare Website Security, Application Security, WAF.
  • Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs, Website Filtering devices, Admission Control, Remote Access, Intrusion Prevention system.
  • SentinelOne Endpoint security, EDR, XDR.
  • Trend Vision One EDR, XDR, Email Security, Deep Security, Endpoint security.
  • Palo Alto Networks Firewall.
  • VMware NSX Network Segmentation.

Networking:

  • Cisco Core and edge Switches.
  • Cisco ACS Network Access Management.
  • Cisco WLC (Wireless Lan Controller).
  • Cisco Webex Call Manager and Configuring Cisco IP Phones.
  • SolarWinds Network Monitoring.
  • VMware Xvlan, Distributions switches.

Systems:

  • Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WDS and WSUS Servers.
  • Microsoft 365 Intune, Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Endpoint Manager, Entra.
  • Microsoft SQL Server.
  • VMware VCenter, ESXI.
  • Nutanix AHV, HCI, Prism.
  • Dell Servers, Data Domin Appliance.
  • Veeam Backup Software.
  • Pach Management software
  • CodeTwo and Exclaimer Email Signatures.
  • OpenPath access control.
  • XProtect | Milestone Systems video Management.
  • Google Workspace.

Management responsibilities:
IT Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify technology trends and advancements relevant to the organization’s needs.
  • Plan and budget for IT projects, resources, and infrastructure upgrades.

Team Management and Leadership:

  • Build and lead a skilled and motivated IT team.
  • Assign tasks, set goals, and provide guidance and support to team members.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.

IT Operations and Infrastructure Management:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of IT systems, networks, servers, and infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance, security, and availability.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and network equipment.

IT Security and Risk Management:

  • Implement and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Vendor and Budget Management:

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, licenses, and service-level agreements.
  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.

User Support and Customer Service:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to users, addressing their IT-related issues and
  • Foster a customer service-oriented culture within the IT team.
  • Continuously improve IT services and support processes.

IT Project Management:

  • Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budgets and specifications.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies.

IT Governance and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks and controls.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Position requires 24 months of experience in IT Operations or related occupation.
  • Must have 2 years of experience managing IT operations for customers in the cement industry.
  • Must have 2 years of experience managing Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Must have 2 years of experience using the Nutanix software.
  • Must have 2 years of experience in managing development and support teams for Hyper converged Infrastructures systems.
  • Must have 2 years of experience establishing and maintaining processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks.
  • Must have 2 years of experience developing and maintaining partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and researchers.

Travel requirement: Up to 15% domestic or international travel may be required.
